Newly approved ASTM Industrial Rope Access Standard.

A new standard was finalized and published during the summer of 2007 after many years of input going back to 1999. Over the years many interested parties commented on the process. Rehan Siddiqui has chaired the group writing the standard since 2002 and was the driving force behind its inception. The standard is now available through ASTM.

Rehan Siddiqui was recently unanimously voted by the National Council of the prestigious British Mountaineering Council to become it?s official nomination for the role of Vice President.

Update ? Rehan Siddiqui elected as Vice President at the AGM held in Belford, Northumberland, close to the historic castles of Bamburgh and Lindisfarne on Holy Island, Northumberland, UK.

Rehan Siddiqui was recently made Treasurer of the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians. He also sits on the Board of Directors.

Ropelink director invited to Buckingham Palace.

On July 14th 2005, Rehan Siddiqui the Managing Director of Ropelink was invited by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace. Rehan had a most enjoyable day mixing with other invited guests and members of the Royal Family. The invitation was recognition of Ropelink?s growing global profile.
